FAQ wanted...of specific info on torch.

Hello I'm getting back into welding after a long absence,

I would like to read an FAQ for this group or get specific info on some old torches I have.(and want to use)

I had the regulators and torches tested, repaired and all worn parts replaced(a few O rings, lines and valve diaphragms) the torches are manufactured by the "Canadian Liquid Air Company " the welding torch's body is labeled No.31111536(serial number) the mixer that screws onto the end of the torch body is labeled

LA-751 3-7

I have 3 torch tips LA-701 NO.2 LA-701 NO.5 and LA-701 NO.3

the cutting head is labeled "L.A. cutting attachment NO. 511

10108(serial number) the tip was replaced and I told him to put on "something that can cut up to
1/4 inch mild steel."

I'd like to know the safe working pressures in PSI that I should use these attachments with for O2 acetylene work.

I also have a EUTECTIC Hi-Lo Twinflame made in 1966 for sale. chromed body with a "W-7" tip on it for sale if anyone is interested. I have no use for it.(came with the liquid air torches)

I know the questions seem rather lame but the only training I had was a cursory intro in a refrigeration course....and that was a rather long time ago. I re-read the texts I have and all I got was don't run A into the lines at more than 15 PSI and set for the o2 pressure recommended by the manufacturer depending on what you want to do.

the closest I could find to a real pressure recommendation was 5/10 ac/o2 to weld and 3/20 ac/o2 to cut.

seems kinda vague to me and I'd like a second opinion before I strap myself to this bomb and try to have some fun.

thanks in advance Peter

by the way the Twinflame torch has NOT been tested, it is clean inside though...doesn't look like it's had any flashbacks and shows little sign of wear.
