Is Inconel 82 good for tig welding cast iron? I thought maybe the high nickel content might make it good for that? Thanks

Is Inconel 82 good for tig welding cast iron? I thought maybe the high nickel content might make it good for that? Thanks

I have used several alloys of inconel and hastelloy to weld cast iron. They work almost as well as pure nickel.
