As the topic states I like to get some info as why it recommended to run short wire stick out when welding stainless steel. using MIG process.
I think it was mentioned that stainless is a poor electrical conductor and a poor heat conductor, and that is the reason for short stick out.
However, if your welding machine have the necessary " whooomp" or should I say the power needed to melt that bad boy, than why bother with shortening the stick out?
doesn't the label /info on the door of the welding machines have calibrated / adjusted power and wire speed to kick the stainless in the "jimmy"
