Depends on what the use of the brass is I've tig welded lots of hand rail and table legs 1/8" tubing using AC and 1/8 zirtung 250amps with balance around 50% and a large gas lens with strips of the parent metal as filler. the zinc fumes like crazy, coler match is close strength is fair about 2 out of every 10 inches ends up with porosity and needs to be ground out and redone but it can be done use a fume hood or do outdoors. If you have enough skill to tig dirty Alum. with a little practice you can weld brass
hi mate no problem you can use ac or dc how to weld brass the trick is to use brazing rod silica brazing rod and to keep the heat on the road not on the surface of the brass by keeping the heat on the roads are you allowed the rod to melt into the brass just giving you the penetration if you use a pc you get a really small meet you get a clean wells with very little mester white off but the world is much bigger very nice very neat clean i see you will have to clean the dust off i hope this helps you welderMan
