There is a crack in the housing that connects to the motor. As a consequence the pump looses it's prime. This is a Goulds water pump.

I would use 3M 5200.

If the epoxy will be in an area where cavitation will occurr, I would pick a filled epoxy.
od. It is not expensive and available in hardware stores. Devcon is an IT W company as is Miller, So it is somewhat on topic.
