Am i doing something wrong? Using 1 1/2" EMT at 90 deg. I have to cut back the points on the fish mouth to get the joint to fit. Is this the way winmiter works? Thanks.


There is a .TXT file (that I don't have here) that explains this. The points are as if the tubing walls had no thickness. You cut/grind/file to the smooth wavy edge.

I was wrong on the program, but right on the explanation. It was Tubemiter.exe, and Tubemiter, by Gary Puckett, does have you spec wall thickness. See:
