I crashed my Slow Stick tonight and cracked the wing in half down the middle. The pieces fit together very well, and the struts will hold it in place while the glue dries. What is the best kind of glue to mend split foam wings?

I agree with the Other Poster that epoxy is "best." A band of light fiberglass with a super-thin wetting with epoxy may help hold the wing together.
But building the wing strong enough to survive "landings" like that makes for an ill-flying aircraft.
All constuction and repair on our planes is a tradeoff. The goal is strong enough to fly nicely (in my view) but light enough to make the flights enjoyable.
For this, any is good enough. I use the kind from the local store that squirts the correct amount out of what looks like a big double syringe. I would not use the 5 minute stuff for this, as it may rush getting it all in place in time before it sets.
The wing he's working with would melt. Glue gun works well for EPP. GWS has a really dandy glue that comes with their stuff. Maybe some very light fiber glass cloth to reinforce or package sealing tape. For my repairs I got a whole 'nuther slow stick. :) mk
Actually, if one uses LOW MELT hot glue, it can be a quick and good fix and every type of foam. I have a dual-heat glue gun that does a good job. I keep the hot melt glue gun going all of the time when I am working. I can tack and also permanently glue.... anything on all of my foamies.
It peals back apart if you are really strong...but that often tears the foam..rather than letting the glue go.
I use a heated razor knife/blade, held momentarily to a heat gun..to slice through the hot-melt glue when I have to take something big apart. Since I crash a lot, I have substantial experience in this process. Ha Ha richg99
Horizon Hobby used to sell a foam bipe called the FX 3D. Wings and fuse were foam. You assemble it with low temp hot glue. Just gotta be careful and not let the gun's tip touch the foam because it will melt the foam. The glue didn't.
