What German company made the first flight of the jet powered wing and eventually lost one engine, spiraled into the ground. No rudder to compensate . Saw it on History channel. It took off on a cradle that never left the ground. Was it Horton??? Amazing. Jim

Yes it was Horton. The last (supposedly) fighter they build is in stored at Silver Hills as a pile of parts on the "To Do" List.
