I am currently undertaking a project in association with the V&A and One Dot Zero Moving Image Festival. I am trying to find either an individual or a club that would be able to help me make a model aircraft out of an old typewriter. I have the type of plane/shape I want it to resemble and all the parts from the typewriter. I am not sure if you are able to help me in any way. I was wondering whether you have any tips or contacts of modelling clubs that might help? I am based in the Surrey area, but can travel around. I have a very limited time in which to do this however... approximately 3 weeks.
The end aim is to try and get the model to fly, either by cheating using bolsa wood etc or something lighter but using the shapes of the typewriter pieces.
