Have a Neon that I use for flying wings. On Acer's Mini Speed Wing site, I noticed Hitech had an "upgrade" with potentiometers for $11 and change. Not ready for the GHz change-over yet. That being the case, is this upgrade worth it? What exactly does it do??
TIA

That upgrade is to add ATV to your radio. It will make installations easier. If you plane to use that radio in other planes the ATV will save time and frustration. With ATV you can adjust the travel of the servos with the pots. For me, I use this most on throttles. mk

WOW, great prices, I grant you that much. OTOH, I have a 2.4 GHz camera system that I want to loft (eventually), might be some interference (?) and I don't want to just chuck my three 72 MHz transmitters in the trash (Hitech Optic 6, Laser 4, and 3 ch Neon). I haven't come even near exhausting the possibilities of the Optic 6 yet.
Not ready for prime time.
Guess when I run out of crystals (actually, I'm there now) the next plane can use 2.4 GHz. I've got a birthday in June, hey --- please, honey, I'm obsolete!!

This looks like the solution for the Optic 6...

Best of both worlds. Use it when you need it.
Not available until June. I didn't see a price listed, either.

Never, never, NEVER say this to your wife. Guys down the street keep saying it to their wife and she keeps replacing them.
I think she is on the third one now.
