Need a measurement

Dec 17, 2003 2 Replies

Hi, I'm ordering a plane from Tower and I need the dimensions of the box. I need to calculate volume for shipping to my mailbox adress in the U.S. Anyone have a 40 sized plane box lying around? Bet some of you are surrounded by them :-) The plane is a Great Planes Tracer 40 but I think the measurements from any KIT 40 size will do. A comment to this for all you lucky guys living in the US: The plane with retracts, a retract servo and 6 Futaba 3003, plus an expensive aluminium spinner and at least 10 other small items amounts to $221 + shipping in the us. In Norway, the same merchandise costs $575 Of course, I have to pay shipping all the way to Norway, but probably not more then $100 Outrageous price differance! Thanks for any help.

Thanks Bob! I should have checked that probably, but I never imagined they went to all the trouble of posting their box dimensions ;-)
