i have a 36in. wingspan honker"bipe".. would this be a goog plane to learn on?

The only thing you will learn is why it's a bad idea to learn on a plane like that. So, if you are serious, instead of trolling, find a club, get a trainer, and welcome to R/C airplanes.

Oh, and go to

and browse the Beginner forum. There's a huge amount of information on starting out.

Try a 46.3" wingspan GWS Slow Stick. Probally could get a complete package ( plane, 4ch transmitter, battery, and charger) for around $150.00 price range. Exxxlent plane to learn on.
