It's easy actually. Just go to your local hobby store and ask for foam safe paint. Its pretty common.

Krylon H2O spray paints available at Walmart is a water based spray paint compatable with polystyrene foam. I painted a GWS Beaver with it and it does a very nice job.

Latex paint

I did, but they didn't seem to know what paint would be safe on the type of foam the Parkzone Stryker is made out of. EPP foam i think.

I don't think latex comes in a spray can.

It does. Krylon makes it. It is also known as H20 (water) paint from other manufacturers. You can also find it in the crafts section of Wal Mart.

Thanks, just wanted to repaint the plane since it can be hard to tell which side is top and bottom and it gets hard to see when it gets up there sometimes. I was thinking blue on top and red on bottom.

This is why local hobby shops are disappearing; all they can offer to beat mail order / internet is information and service. If they can offer neither then that is that.

Testors spray enamels, the mainstay of the hobby world for many decades are safe on all foams that I know of if sprayed in light coats and not allowed to puddle.
