Polks Tracker 3 series

One of the flyers came out with a Polks Tracker 3 radio and showed it off to us. Worked well, had some nice features, short on specifics.Haven't seen the flyer since. Any one had any dealings with Polks hobby or this brand of radio? tia

Ted shuffled out of his cave and grunted these great (and sometimes not so great) words of knowledge:

I have the Tracker II radio. The ONLY complaint I have about the II is there is no buddy box port. Polk's is great to do business with. If you have questions or a problem they will talk you through it on the phone, and if that is not possible (I had a problem they could not talk me through ) the turn around time is fantastic - 8 days from when I mailed it out until I got it back.

Thanks for the replies. I like the Tracker 3 and will probably bite if and whan they become available. I need the trainer feature as my Futaba t4NBp has a trainer jack but will only "talk" to another PCM! Futaba informes me there is no retrofit to conventional FM.

I ordered one (8-chan) a couple of months ago. I just got a call last week, confirming my order. The guy said that they had confirmation that the new batch of radios was being loaded on the boat. They expected about 3 weeks until they'd be shipping them to fill back orders. The radio comes with the Tx, Rx, one servo, switch harness/cables and charger plus instructions. More BB servos for $10 apiece. I told them I liked to use Hitec servos. They said you can run any servo you want to.

I'm looking forward to getting this rig. Hope the Katrina, gulf coast disaster, doesn't slow things down.
