What computer /graphics do I need to run the simulator? Checked on Real Flight and they sugessted a new graphics board.

I think it'll work with software rendering, but you really want a 3D card of some sort. A TNT2, GeForce or later card should be just fine.

As for computer speed, I'd expect a p2 300 to run it just fine, but I haven't tried anything that slow in a while ...

Windows only, so far. Haven't tried it under Wine, but it may work. :)

yes i think alot of graphics guys/gals design the models and just "tweek" the performance to an unrealistic level. you can modify the flight characteristics of any of the models using a PAR editor or just a text editor and the .par file if you know what you're doing. ive only made a few models and i just copied a par file from another plane that flew realistically to the new model.

it definately isnt an obsolete simulator by any means and has saved many planes im sure. matt
