Uhmmm anyone know where to get this at? I googled for Hydrofoam didnt come up with this. tried it with Boast and RC.

27, 49, 50 and 53 mHz would all work for both land and air ...Though this really isn't any different than your usual seaplane -- you can certainly drive them around like a boat, and many can drive around in grass too, even though they don't have wheels.
Still, it looks very neat -- a neat variation on the old `round tuit', another validation that you can make almost anything fly if you give it enough power :)

I'd suggest he get set up to make kits ASAP -- he could make a lot of money on this idea.

He sort of spoke about doing plans initially, then someone got busy in AutoCAD and within a matter of hours posted their own plans - the original guy since decided to do a kit version instead and seems a bit dark on the AutoCAD guy, but the fact remains, if he gets his sh*t together and does the kit there are a pile of customers keen to buy one rather than futzing with tiled sheets and templates.
I've always been a big fan of the model airboat - I think I'm gonna have to make me one :)
