Can anyone help me in finding some spad ARTF kits i have tried Spad UK but don't get any e mails back.

Why ARTF the whole point is the cheapness. Go to a sign maker have a chat they will give you second hand used sheets of correx, builders throw out odd bits of drain pipe

I remember reading an article that mentioned you can't find any ARF's made of coroplast because Hobbico owns a patent on them, or at least on the hinging mechanism used in SPAD's.

Yes, Hobbico owns the patent to the hinging method, but that does not stop people from selling SPAD ARFs with the hinges uncut.
