What's wrong with the OS LA series?

Pete,

Good on ya, it appears that Todd "Klondike"has had nothing to offer this group at any time of his posting here, & his repeated messages only confirm it.

Best regards,

Todd "Klondike":

You haven't rid this group of anything. I am a Conservative, but not the type that you appear to be: a petty jerk. Even if Paul is a Liberal, I highly respect him for his knowledge of the R/C sport & after having dealt with him for several years I consider him a man of high character & strong values. He is what a friend should be..

Paul - the unfortunate creature to whom you refer is nothing more than a simple-minded rabble rouser, and I have rendered it invisible to me. So nice. You ain't rabble, so don't be roused.

So, where is your contribution to the OS LA discussion? I have about 8 on-topic posts here. How many do YOU have?

FWIW, I have even seen people going to the expense of machining new bushings for the 65LA after the original wore out!

There's nothin' left to discuss anyway. It would appear that concensus is that the LA engines are acceptable but there's superior alternatives. And Toad thang has ceased to exist for me. Once it ceases to exist for everyone it will disappear entirely.

No, but he can troll...

Note how he changed his screen name and bogus email addy to bypass Pete's "poofmaker"...

Trolls thrive on the replies they get from their "fish"...

Ignore this twit and he'll disappear in a nonce....

A single on topic post made on 16/07/04.

All that was necessary for those unencumbered with your own apparently deluded sense of self-importance. Perhaps if you weren't so distracted by your current ranting and paid closer attention to the topic - or were smart enough to cross-check what is probably a long ago archived as uninterestingly on topic post for you, you'd have been able to discern that yourself ;P

No only is that as superfluous as it's worth, but it's as irrelevant to the topic at hand as were your earlier misinterpretive statements of a natural superiority presumed upon the inarguable higher power output of TBR engines which run contrary to the intended role & functionality of the LA.

By comparison of suitability to purpose and price the LA is way ahead. In point of fact the 40LA is all that is not only necessary, but preferred for purpose and a wise choice necessitating a notably lesser spend.

And don't even start me on your exaggerative bullshit $80 for an .46LA!

In the end economic triage will ultimately favour the 40LA sans blue clothes no matter how the argument is posed.

Now.....DO I REALLY HAVE TO STOP THIS CAR?!!!!! :P

Wow, someone got a new dictionary.

As far as the price of the 46LA goes, sure you can get it for less. If you don't happen to live in the US, you can pay a LOT more. Just Engines in the UK (one of the best suppliers) lists it for around $120.00. They sell the Supertigre .51 for the same price.

As for being on-topic, every one of my posts were a direct response to another post which makes them very on-topic.
