Please be so kind to tell me how to install/import new hatches. I'm working with AutoCAD 2004 LT.

The default hatch patterns used by AutoCAD are stored in the acad.pat file. You can add your pattern here or create your own *.pat file. Just use the HATCH command to call your user defined hatch.
