Shipping Technician
Responsible for the packaging and shipping of finished goods.
Job duties include:
a.. Design and build wooden crates to accommodate finished products. b.. Package finished goods to customer and internal specifications. c.. Create and print appropriate bar code labels and packing lists. d.. Coordinate logistics with carriers such as trucking companies and common carriers as well as global freight companies. e.. Perform final inspections of finished goods to blueprints and other specifications. f.. Maintain shipping logs. REQUIREMENTS Candidates must posses basic carpentry skills and computer knowledge. Must be able to communicate with common and global freight carriers and schedule freight pickups in accordance with requirements. Must have strong work ethic and be able to work flexible hours.
Full time position, with mandatory overtime as required. Pay is commiserate with skills.
