SW and multiple cores

I know the subject has been beaten quite a bit...

Right now, I'm waiting for SW to let me work again. I see in the task manager only one core (Core 2 6700) working 100%, the other idle. (assy and drawing of the same)

While waiting, I am wondering if latest versions of SW (I'm on '06) make use of multiple cores.

Ah, yes, this is why I love this place. Clueless fucks can say whatever they like without any evidence whatsoever.

It really depends on the types of models you make. Drawings and assemblies are becoming more mtil-threaded every release. I've heard one of these people that Bangqueer quotes all the time say that surface models and multibodies make good use of multiprocessors.

UPDATE -- July 8, 2007 -- I had to close this blog post to further comments and to remove the personal attacks between Jon and some other newsgroups readers. Before the interview, I made an agreement with Jon about the style of the interview and the way to handle it. Jon didn't respect our agreement, posting comments under fake names. Jon's authentic and fake comments are all posted from the same IP address,

Is a CADCAM salesman. Imagine someone getting even with a CADCAM salesman instead of being taken advantage of one. See your quotes below that show how stupid you are, Brewer.

Recently Tom Brewer said SmartCAM had no user interface problems and yet the record shows Tom Brewer thinks SmartCAM does indeed have user interface problems:

"The only real problem that I run into is that the screen can get cluttered and it becomes difficult to pick and choose elements in Free Form.
