You have to be careful that the light bulbs aren't mixed up. I once heard of when someone connected a 60 Hz light bulb to 50 Hz power, and they blew a transformer. The whole street went dark.

The original poster said the motors were to be exported to Afghanistan, but that doesn't make too much sense since Afghanistan is apparently
