As for Seagate...back when they produced MFM and RLL drives, they were not very reliable...especially the 20meg MFM's I had four and three failed not to mention the failures I saw in the commercial setting....But, you were still a young little PeckerHeaded Doper back then and wouldn't remember, so discussing this with you is a waste of energy!

Well HoneyBucketMatter......since you want to quote facts, where is that make and model of the meter you claim will accurately measure your .001 ohm resistor....You claim it was a 3.5 digit DMM, cheap and would not only resolve to 100microvolts but would be accurate......So far the best you have come up with was a 3 buck door stop.....Awaiting some facts as opposed to the ususal pre-adolescent comments....Perhaps you could do another one of your classic multiposts..... The heads on my priam drives have linear actuators (motors) instead of an arc swept head array, like drives today have. You probably think of your hand when the term "linear actuator" enters your mind.
I could post a picture of a very elegant head actuator assembly. It was state of the art at the time, and the mil boys were some of the biggest contractors. You are lost... way past left field.
