That's a gun reference. The lock (mizzen, pan, hammer, etc) The stock (wood thingy that holds everything together) The barrel (place the bullet comes out)

But the orginal locks for flintlocks and wheelocks were made by the same people who crafted doorlocks - heance the common use of the word "lock"

But the three bears didn't have a lock that couldn't be opened by Goldilocks.[1]
