Meilink relocker question

Is the relocker attached to the lock case, or just the lock's rear cover? They're often attached to the rear cover, which is manufactured to snap off easily.

I think that thermal external relockers are usually a "weak link" in a member under tension. Not what you're describing.

But you might find a thermal plug under the trigger (internal relocker) inside the lock case.

Well, there are 2 screws attaching the relocker hold bracket, one looks to be a makeshift job just screwed into the cover, the other screw goes thru the bracket and into the lock body such that it holds both to the lock housing. I don't know how easily this would snap off.
