HElp with Meilink safe

I have 2 Meilink safes, 1 with the door open and the other closed. They are supposedly keyed alike or whatever you call it. I have a list of combinations that I know 1 will work for this and the one next to it. I don't know what direction to turn the dials. There are 2 hash marks on the dial, 1 at 12:00 and another to the left. The inside of the door has 2 plates.
