I went to a factory one time, and they asked me if I could do anything iwth thier Oblee locks they had. It took me awhile to figure out that they were talking about the Abloy locks.
What other interesting sayings have you heard? Schlage is another one that I've heard several ways to say it.

A friend of mine got a call from some auto road service company up north wanting to know if he could open a "Ahvy". Never having heard of a model by that name, he asked who made it. The caller told him that all they knew was it was an "Ahvy". Took him a couple minutes to finally figure out that the woman was trying to say "RV" (recreational vehicle).

Like the time some years ago some folks with a Chrysler power plant RV. They needed an ignition key. They said they could bring it to me cause they got it strot wad.
Sounds like they were from Wosta Mass.
