It seems to me you had posted something about the new Malibu keys. Today this came up and I had a brain fart. If you don't mind, what is the straight skinny?

they got a transponder chip in them, and a different keyway, on CERTAIN models of them it seems... programming procedure is unknown by my local dealer so far. and I ahve NOT been able to find any more info as yet.
the 00- 03 keyblank WILL work on certain model of it, but there is the transponder which is TOTALLY different keyway, for the other model. will keep ya informed as I find out.

The one the dealer was making an inquiry about yesterday had a G**** code which appears to be a Saturn. I wonder if this is a Huf lock? I think I might make a visit next week and look at one.

believe that info is correct on the code... not certain about the huf yet. take some...in the 60's? b65? blanks with you... there IS a mechanical that will go in... to ME, I saw this key and said FOREIGN... where did they got that keyway? FOREIGN... that was my first impression...like the Toyota? --Shiva--
