So some of you guys don't like the owner/distributor of the CodePro 4500 Key Machine... I think that point has been communicated...
Since I have never used or seen such a machine I don't have any idea if I would put up with someone as unreasonable as the descriptions that have been provided here selling me such a device... Especially one that costs over $2,000...
I am sure that there are better ways to get your point across than slamming him on a newsgroup -- that is just so seedy -- perhaps a well written 'editorial' to one of the trade magazines about the gentlemen's business practices...
I agree that someone who would sue his customers over negative product feedback shouldn't really be in business... Doing that type of thing will eventually drive away a lot of his business...
'Key: Relax -- The post made by the machine's distributor was not SPAM here... A post had been made asking where to purchase a code machine... It was in fact solicited by that request for information...
Gordon Gravelle: Umm, well if what they are saying about you is true then you really need to assess the way you do business if you wish to succeed... Filing a lawsuit against your customers over negative feedback or complaining isn't very nice... How would you like it if your local fast-food restaurant decided to sue you if you complained about the quality of the food... I am sure that a large corporate entity like a fast-food chain could produce a goon squad of lawyers that could tie the matter up in court for a long time costing you a bundle... Just think about such things a bit more than you have before you go about setting a new legal precedent in your home state...
Glen Cooper: What happened to you ??? -- Were you the one that got sued ??? If you were I am sorry you didn't deserve that... if you weren't the get over it, you have made your opinions on the matter known and this can be the end of it...
