Anyone have some good advice on what CMMS software to use?
This would be for a medium size manufacturing facility with many machines and overhead cranes
There is so much out there don't know what to chose
Wiling to spend up to $5k dollars
Want server based and use clients to access? Or maybe web browser based
Need good flexible reporting. Lots of reporting power
Try Virtual Dmis from IMS. It might do what you want. I think they have an American office somewhere. Found this

Do like we used to for insurance...
Set the competitor suppliers down in your office all together and ask them, "Why should I buy yours and not theirs?" Listen very carefully to the replies. You'll find a whole list of gotcha's you never even considered.
