Just wanted to know what the prevailing thoughs are on sizing control valves for wet steam. Have steam at 80 psig and 300 degrees. Sat temp for 80 psigis 324. What woukl be a better choice,, sliding stem cage or a v ball design. Also would good piping design indicate to install a drip leg and trap just at valve inlet. Thanks

Wanderer, sizing is usually based on *flow* - not just pressure. What size lines are you talking about?

Lesle Valve makes some nice ones. So does Honeywell.
Thanks Paul Was looking also for wether hardening of seats and trim would be required for the watre drops and what min flow valves could take before erosions occors.
