We have an old Carlton Drill press that is a monster. The power feed stopped working yesterday. I adjusted the clutch behind the two handles you pull to engage the feed but I still had no luck. Are we looking at a stripped worm gear or do these monsters have shear pins somewhere?? The power feed sometimes will work and feed the spindle down but as soon as you exert resistance the feed stops. It is like a gear is spinning on a shaft after breaking a key. Anyone had these kind of troubles before? Randy
