You would like to think, you could call them up, place the order and ask for the free shipping , but with most of the order takers, if you don't have the code its no dice, pain in the butt. I get the email offers but never have gotten a technical tip. Odd company, but I do like their prices and quick shipping.

I took advantage of the free shipping in July to order a 5" lock down mill vise. At 52 pounds this was quite a savings or should be. Package arrives Friday, I heft it down the stairs to the shop yesterday open it and find it is a box of assorted new books, but no vise. Is this supposed to be a joke? Will they want me to ship it back? Confused, Joe
Wanna sell 'em?
WB ............
Why don't you ask Enco?
I'm sure they'll take care of the situation.

Looks like they mixed up 2 orders and swapped shipping labels, Joe. Imagine what the avid reader was thinking when a piece of cast iron arrived at his place in lieu of books. ;)
Give them a call. Maybe they'll issue shipping labels so you guys can swap parcels. If their costs are low enough, they might just send replacements and let you keep their mistakes. But it's their mistake, their decision. I'm sure you'll get the vise eventually; probably soon.

The one time Enco screwed up my order they made it right very quickly. I'm betting you won't have any trouble.
Had lots of fun a few years back when UPS delivered a parcel from one of my former suppliers to my home rather than the properly labeled customer and required payment of $79.00 (which I paid from funds on hand, in cash). When I discovered the error and called thier office within an hour of the delivery, they offered to pick up the parcel and start the proccess to have a refund issued from head office. My reply was "no, I paid cash and I will need cash before I release the parcel" After two days and an offer by me to deliver the parcel and collect from the addressee, they came up with cash. Funny, just this week I ordered a bunch of books and got a vise by mistake.
You wouldn't want these books. Enco doesn't sell any of these titles. I think that they are scrap that Enco uses as packing. I'll keep this group updated. - Joe

If the vise was an Emmert clone, I'd keep the vise.
Enco can't explain it either but they are sending UPS to pick up the package and are shipping another vise today. Seems like a nice company to deal with. - Joe
I just got ENCO's free shipping promo code for August (74CFS2). It requires a $200(!) minimum order for free shipping. July's minimum is only $50. You have 5 days to get July's offer.
