FS: Lathe from Craigs List (Someone was looking)

I need this out of the garage ? I have a new lathe waiting to go in it?s place ? so, here is a deal for you - good for this weekend only!

Atlas / Craftsman 12?x36? lathe - Includes 6" 3 jaw chuck, 8" 4 jaw chuck, steady rest, End mill holder and draw bar, has the quick change gear box. Thread range is 4 to 120 TPI. 16 Spindle speeds: 28, 45, 70, 83, 112, 134, 164,

211, 266, 345, 418, 500, 685, 805, 1270, and 2072 RPM. Comes on a bench with adjustable feet to level the lathe.

This is a 110v lathe - great for home shops that don't have 220v.

I?d say the condition of lathe is average for it?s age. I've recently seen Atlas 12x36 lathes sell for $1000, $1200, $1280 & $2000+ on ebay. The lathe could be parted out and sold on eBay for more than my price. I don't want the hassle of shipping a lathe or dealing with a bunch of eBay transactions to part it out.

First person to bring cash and a truck gets the lathe for $700.

I have an engine hoist avail to help with loading it into your truck ? you provide the manual labor required.
