I'm about to install a new 3 axis Newall C80 on my old Bridgeport J head. The directions seem to be fairly complete but I've read some other opinions here and there on the web that contradict the instrctions in some ways. Has anyone successfully done this set-up and if so were there any surprises?

thanks

Ben

I fitted a C80 3-axis to my Centec 2B with no real problems. The instructions were general and in no way specific to a Centec mill. If you have instructions specific to a Bridgy then my experience is clearly irrelevant to your situation.
