Looking for source for steel balls

I've only been able to find one, and they're busy reorganizing the facility right now.

Specifically, I'm looking for 1.062" HARDENED balls.

Thanks,

Weyland

They're small volume and therefore expensive, they may not go up to 1" much less above, and if they do they may jump from 1.000 to 1.125, but they're worth a look.

Metric 27mm is pretty close (1.063") but I don't think Small Parts has them.

MSC lists them in both "through hardened" chrome steel and 440-C stainless.

Their part #'s 00072926 and 0073569

I'm sure Grainger, McMaster-Carr etc. have similar.

Tim.

Surely telling your friends that you have brass balls would be more traditional?

"I have hardened steel balls" sounds too much like one-upmanship.
