lufkin made ammo clips? I didn't know that -

this will amuse all you folks - I decided that Gunner's info below, would be helpful to buyers, so I added his info about stripper clips last night - this morining, I found this in my in-box

********************************************************************* You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

300064824156 - stripper Charger Clips, Springfield, 30 cal .223

The auction-style listing was removed because it violated the eBay Firearms, Weapons, and Knives policy. All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

**************************************************************************

I ran into this once before - apparently any listing with "M-16" is automatically cancelled - I wasn't sure if they re-scanned them again after posting, and it looks like they do. I guess the three little clips are a real threat...... I tend to be something of a pro-gun control guy, but there is control and then there is just plain silliness.....

does anyone on the group want these clips? if so, let me know - I'll trade for a 11/16 cutoff blade or something I can use, or I'll relist on e-bay in a month or so and not mention the M-16 and see what happens - I'd just as soon not hassle with e-bay though, these aren't a high value item, I just want to keep them out of the recycling bin

Close but no cigar.

"Made by Mattel, it's swell" That's what I remember saying after firing one and listening to the spring in the buttstock. Sounded just like a spring operated dart gun....

Ah..the memories of the Mattel jokes come swelling back...

"defending America with the best the lowest bidder can provide"

and so forth.

Actually, it isn't amusing.

Basically a company that offers services to the public declined to serve you based on a key word and not by making sure that you had actually violated their terms of service.
