You know this means the world has ended, right? Half the tool market is now B&D, the other half Techtronics. I can't afford stuff like Flex and I can't imagine relying on Makita to hold down the independant tool sector.

I'm glad I got mine before it was sold to "how cheap can we make 'em";
Best go buy another now. Me too I just bought one. Somehow there must be a way to get extra brushes for the model you buy AT the store. :o)
Sure - just buy at a well-stocked industrial supply, not a mass-marketer. At worst, they can at least order the brushes into the same store. Of course, the price on the tool will also be higher unless you have some sort of discount deal with them...
