Doosan closed the DIA Engineering Center in Plymouth, MI last week and let all of the employees go. This group was responsible for all of the turnkey systems in N. America.
I am fairly certain that they've also closed their Western Technical Center in Orange, CA, and possibly their office in Memphis, TN as well.
We can only hope that this is not the harbinger of things to come for the machine tool industry in N. America.
Unfortunately..for the foreseeable future..it is.

500 displays..about 10% were "efficency" companies Several of the big players didnt even show up Most of the big players had huge displays..and help that was desperate to talk to anyone.It was on (1) floor, and in one room. First time Ive ever seen it that small.
Middle of the day..and most of the displays were looking helpless.
