Want to let us in on what it is you're bitching about, and why you're bitching about it here?

Unlike you, I have been posting and bitching here for 8 years. However, I checked your recent contributions, and so determined you are not a total idiot; therefore I will grace you with a directive:

I can't see anything unusual in the pics but if you are looking for a used digicam, I have a few laying around here, running down their batteries :-)

My best digital is an elderly HP Sureshot. And while it takes ok pictures...doesnt close focus less than 18" or more..and I need something that will.

And I thought my mother was anal!

You take the prize from her by a *LONG* shot with this nitpick...

That's pretty picky. I thought you might be talking about putting the viewfinder lens down on the carpeted floor, which I wouldn't do.

You come screaming into a public forum that someone such an OBVIOUS NITWIT because the lens cap is not on straight???? The whole world should laugh hysterically becasue the lens cap logo is not horizontal?

My, oh my. This is really sad... You are off your medications again. You have my pity. Get well soon. Pete

That same nitwit must work for Canon. Notice how the camera on the right hand side in this photo is at an angle, and therefore the logo on the camera is not horizontal!

And OMG! The logo on this one is even vertical !!!

Can you believe they did that !?!?! The compositional horror! The esthetic injustice!

Now I that I know what the mystery is, I can go arrange my socks, iron my underwear, and make sure the toothpaste comes out with the blue stripe on the right side & the red stripe on the left side. For some reason, I feel much better about myself!

Just don't forget that underwear is a "no starch" item...

Most of the professional shots of that (and similar) cameras are bereft of lens cap and with the lens extended outwards in a manly fashion.

You missed that this "problem" was created by Canon, not the Ebay seller. I thought you were going to point out that the mounting ring for the lens strap should have been directly _above_ their name instead of being below (and to the left) of the name. Since the strap comes from above, it is almost inevitable that at some/most points the lens cap will not be properly oriented. Babin he ain't.
