That is really disgusting. Why are the firefighters speaking SPANISH in the first frigging place? Don't we have enough American citizens to do the job? I don't mind immigrants but damn it, learn the frigging language!!

That story is 2-1/2 years old, Larry. And, in typical Fox fashion, they really spun up a yarn. The state only requires that the crew chiefs speak

*English*. Beyond that, it's up to the independent contractors who supply the crews whether they want to hire Spanish-speaking workers, or workers who speak any other language. If they do, their crew bosses have to speak the language of their crew members. Regardless, they have to speak English.
