One for oil, and TWO filters for fuel, in series. There is also a sediment bowl on the generator fuel line. This is a generator that is meant to survive the worst conditions.
I will indeed drain oil very soon, because I will need to attach an oil drain spout(?) to the oil drain. I may also open up the engine a little bit by removing the cooling system housing, and carefully clean and oil the moving parts and cooling fins.

Yes, it is a lovable unit. It also sucks in, and filters, a lot more fuel than it uses. It returns the excess fuel back to the tank via return line. What this means is that it keeps fuel in a good condition.
