Does anyone know where I can find plastic needle nose pliers? I do craft work with shiny aluminum wire and need to NOT scratch up my wire, so I need plastic tips, (not handles), please advise R. Hamm snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com Thank you much!

Try searching on soft jaw needle nose pliers. I did a google search and came up with thousands of hits. Refine your search by size, etc.

Good luck.

Try shrink tubing over the tips, R.

Is that like an electrical wire covering? That might work, thanks, I like the iguana quote. R. Hamm

Check your local fishing tackle shop. I have seen needle nose pliers made of plastic for hook removal that also float.

See what I mean? You ask what sounds like the most stupid question (by the header. I mean no disrespect to the actual post) and get a heap of perfectly serious, and useful replies.

Love this place.

They might work without heat shrink.
