All this talk about lathes reminds me that my RP has a slight problem I haven't been able to figure out. In the left-most gear ghange lever, to go to high speed, it wants to grind unless I ease the clutch in very slowly. I've pulled the gearbox cover and nothing seem out of whack. I'm afraid to pull it apart (BIG JOB) without a book. Anybody know where I can get info? We usually just don't use that gear set but it's annoying knowing it's not right. Other than that, the RP is GREAT iron.
