Does anyone know the procedure for replacing the main drive belt on a VS13 Colchester Clausing lathe? This is the big drive belt that drives the variable speed pulley, not the two smaller sized v belts that drive the headstock gearbox.

Clausing should have a manual that explains the procedure.

No explanation from Clausing, but I finally figured it out , but it took the help of another pair of hands. cheers
