rotary tool parts

I was given a "Professional Woodworker" carving tool that looks like a Dremel. This tool is missing the nut and collet. The shaft is larger than a Dremel and the threads do not seem to match anything I can find. The tool seems to be HDC (Homier) but they say no parts are available. Anyone know a source of this nut and collet? Thanks!

I'm sure the "nut" can be made. On the other hand the collet is a different matter entirely. :-) Take some (lots) of measurements and go look at the different brands and compare. (use a micrometer, not a "ruler". :-) ) ...lew...

Is it like this ?

Perhaps there are some like parts. A number of companies sell parts for these. Locally and web based.
