First, I am not an expert in metalworking or even a metal hobbyist. My father passed away from Leukemia back in September 2005 and I need to sell a bunch of stuff that has been in storage. He had a very cool workshop with interests in metalworking and woodworking. Everything must be sold.
I need to sell his Shoptask 2000 (3 in 1 mill lathe) to someone that can pick-up locally. I am in Jackson, TN, which is about one hour East of Memphis, or two hours West of Nashville, right on I-40.
After my father passed, we relocated and the machine was partially disassembled to make it easier to move it. Currently the machine is still apart, but I am beginning to put it back together.
Also, there are many accessories that I have no idea what they are. They are included with the sale of the machine. He also added the Quadra-Lift option to the machine.
If anyone is interested, I can e-mail pictures. If you purchase it soon, it may still need some items assembled, wires connected, etc. I will try and get everything together and it working again, but am very busy with other projects.
I will list it on eBay if I don't have any serious offer in the next few days.
