I was talking to a crew leader from a company that puts up wood frame, steel-shell buildings for a company that covers most of the US and he commented on the troubles he has run into with dumb/power-mad building inspectors. Their buildings all come with plans sighed off by an LPE. He said pointing out the LPE signature generally shuts them up in a hurry. YMMV.
