The "tank"

I was surprised not to recognise the name of the guy whole built the dozer tank and went on a rampage from these threads!

Last I heard he was still inside. Any word?

Hmm. Anyone been missing from here recently? The 'disagreement with the zoning board' feature of the event does have some strong resonance to it...

Just saw on the news that he was found dead inside. Wasn't clear by whose hand.

"jim rozen"

...and I did notice a lot of welding and riveting noises in the background of Gunner's posts recently.

Dean.

He ran out of fuel and sucked on a pistol. Swat finally blew the door to discover him deceased.

From what I heard, the armored shell (apparently two layers of steel with

10-12" of concrete) was a solid unit that the guy probably lowered over himself onthe machine. Scary. They ended up torching a 1' hole in it and saw the guy had offed himself.

A ban on WMD dozers.

Not recently, but I haven't seen a post from God-Pete Albrecht in years.

I think he'd prefer solid steel, rather than laminated concrete.

I dunno, not having seen pictures (diddn't bother looking) I suppose that steel/concrete/steel would offer pretty much total protection against small arms, and at least some protection against 50 cal weapons. Any serious anti-tank weaponry will go right through the long way.

Nuh! Gunner replied to this post....

Anyway, why Gunner?!! Boy!

Nick,

I'm sure you've noticed that there are a few irrational goof-balls who post prolifically trying to discredit Gunner. It doesn't work. They do more to discredit themselves.

George Willer

Now there's something that needed to be said.

Garrett Fulton

Because you're one of them.

It's really a compliment. All the guy here are going, 'hmm. An armored bulldozer. Now why didn't *I* think of that!'

I love this group, I get to research the most interesting and useless (to me) stuff...

And here's a news report on the event in question.
