From what I heard, the armored shell (apparently two layers of steel with
10-12" of concrete) was a solid unit that the guy probably lowered over himself onthe machine. Scary. They ended up torching a 1' hole in it and saw the guy had offed himself.GTO(John)

I think he'd prefer solid steel, rather than laminated concrete.
I dunno, not having seen pictures (diddn't bother looking) I suppose that steel/concrete/steel would offer pretty much total protection against small arms, and at least some protection against 50 cal weapons. Any serious anti-tank weaponry will go right through the long way.
