I need to buy a new wire rope for a griphoist. They say only their special four-strand wire rope should be used. With all the new swaged type wire ropes available there should be one that will work, be at least as crush resistant, and be more flexible. Can anyone who has experience with swaged or flattened wire rope suggest what type would work with a griphoist?
